We are a little over a week into November, and if you’re like me – it’s already Christmas season at your house! My tree went up on November 1st and I usually leave it up until the last snow (March-ish). Judge on.
I searched for years for the perfect Christmas tree. I wanted one that was flocked but pet safe (most flocking is highly toxic to pets!), luscious, full, and didn’t cost upwards of a thousand dollars. It was also a priority for me to find one that was not pre-lit. Personally, I believe it’s a better long term investment to purchase an unlit Christmas tree. In the past when I’ve purchased pre-lit Christmas trees, lights would burn out in random spots and then an entire section would go too. It was too much hassle for me. I’d much rather just purchase a new string of lights if they burn out rather than replace a whole Christmas tree.
The first time I heard about this company, it was from Regan at The Blooming Nest on Instagram. Her tree was absolutely beautiful and checked off all the top priorities on my list for the perfect Christmas tree! It was beautifully flocked, pet safe, unlit, and within my budget.
So last year, I took the plunge and purchased my first King of Christmas Queen Flock Tree and I’m absolutely in love with it! The tree is the best quality I’ve ever seen in a Christmas tree and there is very little fallout from the flocking! With the tree, comes gloves to safely “fluff” the branches without disturbing the flocking and a high quality storage bag. The worst part about Christmas trees, by far, is trying to fit them back in the tiny boxes they’re shipped in. It never happens and the box usually only lasts 2 seasons. The King of Christmas storage bag was a tree-saver, for sure!
Details on my tree are at the bottom of this post; along with a special offer for $25 off your first order of $250 when you order through my referral link. They also offer free shipping to the continental U.S.! Here are some photos of my tree this year and I will link some similar decor options below as well!
Christmas Tree: My tree that is pictured in this post is the 6.5′ Queen Flock Artificial Christmas Tree Unlit. If you order through my referral link, you’ll get $25 off your first purchase of $250 or more, on top of whichever sale they have going on at the time of ordering!
Ornaments: Mix of mercury glass, silver, gold, and wood tones. They key to the perfect ornament arrangement is to use different sizes, colors, shapes, and textures of ornaments. Don’t be afraid of mixing color combinations you may not think “go together”. Many people don’t think gold and silver look “good” together, but I actually love the combination of cool and warm tones like gold and silver.
Garland: Mix of wooden beaded garland in different tones, wood star garland, and burlap ribbon. Garland helps break up the tree into sections that are more visually appealing to look at.
Topper: Wicker wrapped star that brings in a few of the tones in the tree. The star I used was actually left over from a Christmas floral arrangement our new neighbors gave to us last year. I love the look of a mercury glass star or a wood tone star too! Think of your topper as something to tie everything together!
Remote Outlet: You will thank me later! There is nothing more annoying than reaching behind a Christmas tree to unplug it or using a timer that you still would need to turn off if you left the house. Remote trigger outlets will change your life! One click on a remote and it is off or on! One remote comes with three outlets to control your tree, lighted garland, or even a lamp! (Linked below)
