Christmas Puppy Chow Recipe
This is the easiest dessert or snack to make for the holidays and it is so delicious! Includes a few unique ingredients that are different from most puppy chow recipes online.
Ingredients
- 6 cups Cinnamon Chex
- 3 cups Rice Chex
- 2 cups Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 cup Red Sugar Crystals
- 1 cup Green Sugar Crystals
Instructions
- Combine powdered sugar with sugar crystals in a bowl.
- Melt chocolate, peanut butter, and butter in microwave for about 3 minutes, stirring every 20-30 seconds or use double boiler method.
- Pour chocolate mixture over chex in stages, gently folding as you go.
- Once fully coated in the chocolate mixture, add powdered sugar mixture in stages and coat evenly.
- Spread in a single layer onto a cookie sheet and chill for one hour to set.
- Remove and keep at room temperature or keep chilled if preferred.
